#productdevelopment
This concept shows up all over the place. I want to start linking to other thought processes that are essentially the same, or that have some connection to the Lean Startup methods.
* This blog post called *[[How to Think Real Good (a blog post)|How to Think Real Good]]* talks about using heuristics to approximate problems that are hard to formulate. Here's a quote, *"Solve a simplified version of the problem first. If you can’t do even that, you’re in trouble."* The connecting idea is that you're prototyping first, even when trying to solve a problem rather than build a product. First we prototype a solution, and if the solution seems to work, then we put the effort into solving the real problem.
