#growth *"Make your best your new baseline"* is a philosophy from Josh Waitzkin. When training to be the Tai Chi World Champion, Josh would film his sparring sessions & review moments when he performed a new move that was better than something he had done before. He would analyze what he did, studying it until he understood what was new that made it better, then work to make that his new baseline for the future. That is an incredibly way to become an expert at something. Every time you do something better than you did previously, figure out what you did and work to make that your new baseline. The first step, and maybe the hardest step, is *[[noticing]]* that something was better than it was before.
