The image below is pulled from [this](https://doi.org/10.1051/matecconf/201712701001) paper, which I didn't read but I liked the radar chart as an example of how complex and interesting they can be.
Radar charts are displayed in 2D, but they really live in n-dimensional space so the complexity is even higher than we can visualize here. There are pushes and pulls between the components that cannot be truly visualized, but this type of graph is still spectacular.
